Hot Toddy is modeled on the late-90s hot-rodded American combo you've heard in every club and studio: a sparkling Normal channel that comes on fast, and a Drive channel with a More Drive switch for thick, singing gain. The passive tone stack is calculated from the original circuit, and the knobs run 1 to 12 like the real thing.
It shares everything else with Crumble: the strobe tuner, the pedalboard, the studio strip with cabinets and your own impulse responses, Dual Amp, the leveling amp, the studio delay and both reverbs.
Normal, with a Bright switch, and Drive, with its own Drive and Master. Channel Select switches between them; More Drive adds gain and body.
Treble, bass and middle, shared by both channels, calculated from the original component values.
Input 2 is 6 dB lower and a little darker, for hot pickups, just like the original.
A spring tank for both channels that comes in quickly, the way the original’s does, with more controls on the rear panel.
A strobe tuner, then six pedal slots you can fill and reorder: drives, fuzz, compression, modulation, delay, octave, swell and EQ.
Input, gate, four speaker cabinets or your own impulse response, a room, pan and output.
Run a second, fully independent amp from the same pedalboard.
An optical leveling amp and a stereo studio delay with tape, analog and digital voices.
A studio reverb, the dual-engine Bozeman reverb, and a passive tube-style program EQ.
