Crumble

Crumble is built around a boutique, handwired-style overdrive amp: smooth, vocal lead tones that clean up when you roll back your guitar's volume. Every stage of the amp is modeled, from the input through the overdrive circuit, the spring reverb and the power tubes, so it responds to your hands the way the real thing does.

Around the amp is everything you'd have in the studio: a strobe tuner, a pedalboard you can rearrange by dragging, four speaker cabinets or your own impulse responses, a room, a leveling amp, a stereo delay and two reverbs. Turn on Dual Amp to run a second, completely independent amp alongside the first.

The amp

Volume, treble, middle, bass, level, ratio, reverb, master and presence, with Bright, Deep, Jazz/Rock, PAB and Overdrive switches. A rear panel holds the spring reverb controls.

Pedalboard

Six slots, any pedal in any slot, drag to reorder. Overdrives, fuzz, distortion, compressors, chorus, phaser, vibe, tremolo, delay, octave, volume swell and a 10-band EQ.

Strobe tuner

First in the chain. It mutes the signal while you tune.

Studio strip

Input, gate, four speaker cabinets or your own impulse response, a room, pan and output, always at the top of the window.

Dual amp

Add a second, completely independent amp fed by the same pedalboard, each with its own cabinet and pan.

Leveling amp

An optical leveling amplifier for smooth, even sustain, with a mix control.

Studio delay

A stereo delay with digital, tape, analog and diffuse voices, ping-pong and dual modes, and tempo sync.

Two reverbs

A studio reverb (hall, plate, chamber, shimmer) and Bozeman: two engines, twelve reverb types, Infinite and Freeze.

Program EQ and quality

A passive tube-style EQ before the output, and a quality switch with extra oversampling for the cleanest high notes.
